A small infrastructure practice with an unfashionable opinion.

That the sensible default is to own the machine, hold the data and understand the system — and that this is now cheaper and more capable than renting it, for a surprising number of workloads.

Why we exist

Two things changed at roughly the same time. Cloud bills stopped being a rounding error for small teams, and open-weight models got good enough that a single GPU in a cupboard can do work that used to require an API subscription and an uncomfortable data-processing agreement.

Most people we meet already suspect they could run more of this themselves. What stops them is not conviction, it is the middle part: the networking, the identity, the backups, the certificate that expires at 2am, the restore nobody has tested. That middle part is the entire job we do.

INFRABROWN CLOUD SOLUTIONS LLC was formed in Wyoming in 2026 and works remotely with clients across the United States, travelling on-site for colocation and hardware build-outs. We are new as a company and deliberately small: the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and our prices are published so you can judge us on the offer rather than on a list of logos.

What we are not

We are not a managed service provider trying to make you dependent, and we are not a reseller — we take no commission from any cloud, hardware or software vendor, which is why our advice sometimes amounts to "you do not need this." Procurement, when you ask us to handle it, is billed at cost plus a stated 10%.

How we operate

Six commitments we will put in the contract.

You own everything, from day one

Infrastructure code lands in your repositories. Servers sit in your accounts. Credentials go into your vault. There is no InfraBrown control plane, no agent phoning home, and nothing that stops working if you stop paying us.

A price before the work, not after

We quote a fixed fee against a written scope. If we misjudge the effort, that is our problem, not a change order. Hourly billing exists only where you explicitly ask for advisory time.

Boring tools, deliberately

Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, WireGuard. Nothing exotic, nothing that needs a specialist who happens to be us. The best compliment we get is that a new hire understood the setup in an afternoon.

A backup is a restore you have watched

Every engagement ends with a live restore in front of you, from the real backup, onto real hardware. Until that has happened, we do not describe anything as backed up.

We say no to work we would do badly

We do not write your application, run your marketing site or take on estates we cannot support properly. When something falls outside the four services, we say so and point you somewhere better.

Your data stays where you put it

Self-hosted AI exists because some material must not leave the building — case files, patient notes, unreleased research. We build so that it does not, and so that you can prove it did not.

Let's scope it properly.

A 45-minute call, no charge: we look at what you run today, what it costs and what it would take to own it. You leave with a costed direction whether or not you hire us.
